Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how RepairBooks ("we", "us", or "our") handles your data when you use our mobile application.
RepairBooks is designed as an "offline-first" application. This means that all of your primary data—including customer details, repair jobs, financial records, and inventory—is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, host, or store this local database on our servers.
To prevent data loss, RepairBooks offers an optional cloud backup feature. RepairBooks uses the Google Drive API (`drive.appdata` scope) solely for the purpose of creating a hidden, private backup of your shop's database on your personal Google Drive. We do not access your personal files, nor do we store, transmit, or share your Google Drive data on our own servers. This backup data is strictly between your device and your personal Google account.

Because your shop's database is stored locally on your device and on your personal Google Drive, you have complete control over it. You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app, clearing the app's local storage, and deleting the backup file from your Google Drive via your Google Account settings.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
